defytheaverage.com (the "Site") is operated by Re-Tri Consulting, a Texas S-Corporation doing business as DEFY Coaching ("DEFY," "we," "us," or "our"). We do not store your full payment card details. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe and ThriveCart in accordance with their PCI-DSS compliance standards.

By purchasing an email program or opting into our mailing list, you consent to receive emails from DEFY. These may include program content, coaching resources, product updates, and promotional communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email. Transactional emails (such as purchase confirmations and account notices) are not subject to opt-out and will continue for as long as you have an active account or program enrollment.
We use ConvertKit to manage our email list. When you subscribe, your name and email address are stored in ConvertKit's systems in accordance with their privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Specifically:
Purchase and transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
Email list data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Coaching session records are retained at our discretion and are available to clients upon request.
Account data on Teachable is retained in accordance with Teachable's data retention policies.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in a manner consistent with applicable law.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
