The effort is real. The calendar proves it.

Nobody's questioning the output, the hours, the visible evidence of someone working hard. The question is whether any of it is moving the thing that actually matters... or whether staying in motion has become its own way of avoiding that answer.

Your brain gets the dopamine hit of real progress, the sense of forward motion, the feeling that you're working on yourself. Without requiring any of the actual work. Motion and direction aren't the same thing. You've known that for a while.
